Canvas Studio UX Evaluation

Refocusing faculty support toward modern tools through evidence-based design

As lead designer on a task force evaluating IU’s Canvas Studio course resource, I collaborated with Principal Instructional Designers to audit its usage, relevance, and alignment with department goals. Our findings revealed significant overlap with newer tools such as DesignPLUS, the Course Design Wizard, and resources from the Instructional Designers Community of Practice.

A CHILD'S TALE - VOICE AI STORYTELLING GAME

Designing playful, collaborative storytelling for young children through voice AI

This graduate capstone explored how voice AI could support collaborative storytelling among children ages 5–10. I conducted extensive research, contextual observation, and user testing to identify limitations in current storytelling tools and iteratively designed a wearable, voice-interactive system that encourages creativity, physical activity, and replayability.

STRAVA UI

Improving the User Journey and Providing Greater Value

Many of Strava's functionalities go unused by subscribers because they're hidden by a variety of unfortunate design choices. We conducted a variety of user tests to design an improved user interface and experience.
